Day 1: King Hussein Bridge (Airport)– Dead Sea
Arrive at King Hussein Bridge, meet and assist, and transfer you to your hotel in the Dead Sea for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Dead Sea – Baptism Site – Mount Nebo – Madaba
After breakfast, proceed to the Baptism site, the place where Jesus was baptized, drive to Mount Nebo, and wonder at the view where Moses looked across to the Promised Land and later died and was buried. Then on to Madaba and discover the amazing Byzantine mosaics excavated throughout the town. See the ‘Madaba Map’, the oldest preserved mosaic map of the Holy Lands., Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Madaba – Petra – Wadi Rum
After breakfast, visit the Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra, one of the 7 world wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enter the city through 1KM long narrow gorge which is flanked on either side by 80m high cliffs! Notice the dazzling colors and formations of the rocks. The site is massive and contains hundreds of elaborated rock-cut tombs, a treasury, Roman-style theatres, temples, sacrificial altars, and colonnaded streets, transfer to Wadi Rum for dinner and overnight
Day 4: Wadi Rum – Aqaba
After breakfast, enjoy 2 2-hour 4×4 Bedouin Jeep tour to explore the most attractive spots in Wadi Rum. It is a spectacular & timeless place, virtually untouched by humanity and its destructive forces. Here, it is the weather and winds that have carved the imposing, towering skyscrapers, so elegantly described by T.E. Lawrence as “vast, echoing and God-like, transfer to Aqaba for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Aqaba
After breakfast, enjoy free time, lunch, and a city tour, Aqaba, the only coastal city in Jordan, is a base for diving the coral reefs of the Red Sea, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Aqaba – Amman
After breakfast, transfer to Amman for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Amman City Tour – Jerash – Amman
After breakfast, start with an Amman city tour to explore Amman city sightseeing. The historical places are located downtown, where we visit the Citadel with remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period. We stroll via the Souq, to the Roman Theater, and drive to Jerash, which lies on a plain surrounded by hilly wooded areas and fertile basins. It is one of the 10 Decapolis cities in the old Roman Empire and one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world, then back to Amman for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Amman – Queen Alia International Airport
After breakfast, drive towards QAIA to take your flight back home carrying your memorable moments of this fabulous trip with you.
The above include the following:
• Meet and assist upon arrival.
• Accommodation in Hotels as mentioned above on a Breakfast Basis or as per your request.
• Transfers as mentioned in the program: for 1 - 3 Pax in a private A/C Car, 4 – 6 private A/C Van, 7+ depending on the group size in a small/medium or large size A/C DLX Bus.
• 1 – 6 Pax, local Guide in Petra and Jerash only.
• 1 – 6 Pax, English-speaking Escort Driver throughout the program.
• 7 Pax and more, a Private English or German or Italian or French and Romanian speaking Guide, (during tour days only).
• Entrance to all sites mentioned in the itinerary.
• Wadi Rum Jeep ride for 2 hours where applicable.
